We are seeking an Procurement Lead to join a large-scale industrial investment project, responsible for managing procurement activities from request for quotation to contract and purchase order execution, including import and customs processes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and issuance of RFQs and collection of bids from local and international suppliers
  • Commercial evaluation and comparison of offers, including price, delivery terms, and payment conditions
  • Coordination and follow-up of supplier clarifications and negotiations
  • Preparation and issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) in line with approved technical and commercial terms
  • Drafting, review, and administration of service and long term supply contracts.
  • Management and coordination of import and customs clearance processes, including required documentation
  • Close follow-up of delivery schedules and supplier performance
  • Coordination with engineering, logistics, finance, and project management teams
  • Ensuring compliance with project procurement procedures, budget, and schedule
  • Preparation of regular procurement status and cost reports for management


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement for large-scale investment or industrial projects
  • Strong experience in bid evaluation and commercial comparison
  • Solid knowledge of import, customs regulations, and international trade procedures
  • Experience in preparation of purchase orders and procurement contracts
  • Familiarity with Incoterms and international supply conditions
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and LOGO procurement systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience in EPC or industrial plant projects
  • Background working with international & Local suppliers and logistics providers
