Our solutions play a vital role in ensuring safe drinking water, managing wastewater, maintaining industrial and commercial air quality, and enhancing the quality of food and beverages through processes such as sugar refining, oil purification, beverage clarification, and alcohol production. By effectively removing contaminants, odors, and impurities, we help clients achieve operational excellence while supporting environmental sustainability.
We are looking for a Specialties Application Lead in activated carbon applications with a special focus on food and beverage and other selected industrial purification processes to provide technical leadership, drive solution design and performance optimization, and support the development of new application areas.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Application Leadership
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for specialty activated carbon applications in gas and air treatment systems.
- Analyze customer processes and define optimal activated carbon solutions and system configurations.
- Provide technical guidance on adsorption performance, process optimization, and troubleshooting of field applications.
- Collaborate with sales teams and customers to improve system efficiency, carbon utilization, and overall operational performance.
- Support sales teams in technical aspects of project execution to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead and evaluate pilot trials, field testing, and performance validation activities.
Specialty Applications & Solution Development
- Develop and utilize simulation and modeling tools for gas-phase activated carbon applications.
- Work closely with laboratories, production teams, suppliers, and technical partners to develop new products and application solutions.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging application areas for activated carbon technologies.
- Lead the development of technical documentation, product specifications, performance reports, and application guidelines.
- Contribute to R&D and innovation initiatives focused on performance improvement and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–10 years of experience in activated carbon, gas treatment, air purification, industrial filtration, or related environmental technologies.
- Strong technical knowledge of adsorption processes and gas-phase activated carbon applications.
- Experience with one or more of the following applications:
- Food & Beverage
- Industrial emissions control,
- Biogas upgrading and purification,
- Respirators & Collective protection
- Natural gas purification, and solvent recovery systems,
- Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) removal,
- Industrial process gas treatment
